Meet Bella
Bella is an almost 2yr old Great Pyrenees. She currently weighs 75lbs, is up to date on her shots, microchipped, spayed, housetrained, partially crate trained, and good on leash. Bella enjoys her toys, knows a few commands, but will only listen when it suits her; true to her GP nature. Bella gets along with other dogs and remains mildly curious about cats. She loves her people above everything else. She has only been around a few children during her time with us in foster, but she did well with them. Bella is a special needs girl, and will require a family willing to follow her medical protocol. Earlier this year, Bella was diagnosed with PTSD. She takes anti-anxiety medication for this, and to ensure she remains on the path to recovery we want to keep her on that medication for the next 6 months. WAAGR has decided to set both Bella, and her new family up for success by treating her case as a foster with intent to adopt during that time frame.
Bella, more so than other dogs, will need stability and consistency in her life with her new family; a retired individual or someone who works from home would be the best fit. A fenced yard is preferred. Bella is a gentle soul and believes she is a lap dog. She loves her chest rubbed, head massaged, and getting lots of attention.
Bella is being fostered in the Plymouth area.
